A former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ayawaso North Constituency parliamentary candidate, Alhaji Manaf Mohammed, has described the recently concluded work of the Elections Committee in the electoral area as successful.

He thanked all who partook in the filing of nomination forms, vetting of candidates, and balloting for positions in Ayawaso North for a work well done.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank the Committee for their excellent work, professionalism, and commitment to a transparent process,” he said.

He also extended special commendation to “Constituency Chairman, Chairman Kelly, Augustine Ofori Gyebi and the 2nd Vice Chairman Manaf Ayitey for going unopposed.”

Their acceptance by the rank and file of the party, he said, “is a clear vote of confidence and a testament to your leadership.”

He congratulated all aspirants who have successfully sailed through the vetting. Stepping forward to serve, he said, is itself “an act of courage and love for our constituency.”

“As we begin campaigns, I urge all candidates and supporters to conduct their activities with decorum, respect, and unity. Let us campaign on ideas and records, not insults,” he added.

He called for mutual respect among opponents because, as he put it, “after elections, we must still build Ayawaso North together as one family under the NPP flag.”

“I wish you all the very best. May Allah grant us peaceful and successful constituency elections that will strengthen our party for victory 2028 under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,” Alhaji Manaf said.
