The Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards has been rescheduled from August 29 to September 5, 2026.

According to the organisers, the change in its annual awards event was due to unforeseen circumstances with management of the National Theatre.

Consequently, the voting deadline has also been extended to September 2, instead of the previously announced August 26. The one-week extension gives nominees and supporters additional time to intensify their campaigns and participation.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support. We remain committed to delivering an exceptional and memorable awards experience.

“Thank you for being part of the Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards. We look forward to celebrating your achievements on September 5,” the organisers disclosed in a statement.
