A Ghanaian-built digital platform, Howyin, is set to launch globally on Monday, August 3, 2026, after expanding its user community to 73 countries ahead of its official public rollout.

The AAP created by Ghanaian entrepreneur Emmanuel Gyau Addo, is designed as an all-in-one digital ecosystem that allows users to buy, sell, create content, advertise businesses, access services, make deliveries and connect with communities on a single platform.

According to Mr. Gyau Addo, the platform, which has already attracted more than 35,000 registered users, has established a presence in 35 African countries and 38 countries outside Africa, recording a 4.5-star user rating before its official launch.

Mr.  Addo in an interview said the idea for developing the Howyin App was to reduce the dependence on multiple digital platforms by creating a single ecosystem that brings together commerce, entertainment, logistics and social networking

“For too long, Africans have depended on multiple platforms to sell, advertise, create content, book services and deliver products. We asked ourselves one simple question: Why not build one ecosystem that does it all? That question became Howyin,” he said.

He said that the platform will offer opportunities   for businesses, young people and content creators to make additional streams of income part from connecting businesses.

“Our vision goes beyond technology. We want to empower businesses, create opportunities for young people, help creators monetise their talent, support service providers and build digital infrastructure that connects Africa with the rest of the world,” Mr. Addo added.

He said Howyin will also provide a range of digital services, including social commerce, professional service bookings, livestreaming, short videos linked to products, business pages, affiliate marketing, digital payments, advertising and reward systems.

The developer also mentioned that the platform is also introducing Howyin Logistics, an integrated delivery system aimed at connecting customers with logistics companies, courier services, dispatch riders and shipping partners across Ghana and eventually the wider African market.

The company said the platform is open to businesses and organisations including manufacturers, retailers, service providers, small and medium-sized enterprises, content creators, educational institutions, religious organisations, NGOs, logistics operators among others.

He said early adopters would have the opportunity to establish their digital presence as the platform expands its reach across Africa and beyond.
