Yaw Siki Calls For Ban On Pornography In Ghana

Musician-turned-evangelist, Yaw Siki, has launched a strong spiritual campaign against pornography, calling for the practice to be banned in Ghana.

In a post on X, the former musician stated, “I pray to see pornography banned in Ghana.”

Yaw Siki also raised concerns about the growing circulation of intimate content online, arguing that such incidents could influence young people to consume pornography.

He wrote, “I have noticed that every year, sexual content leaks in Ghana, triggering the youth to start watching pornography. It must end!”

His comments come amid widespread social media discussions over an alleged intimate video involving Kumawood actor Oteele.

The actor’s case follows other incidents involving leaked intimate content that have generated significant attention online, including a controversy involving radio presenter Rexford Adu Ntim, popularly known as DJ KA.

Another case involved an alleged intimate video involving a teacher and a student at Bole SHS, which also circulated widely online.

Yaw Siki’s remarks have, therefore, reignited conversations about pornography, the circulation of intimate content and its possible impact on young people in Ghana.

The evangelist is calling for an end to what he sees as a growing trend, urging society to take stronger steps to protect young people from sexually explicit content.
