Dennis Temituro
Dennis Temituro, Founder and Creative Director of Comme Lab, says his guiding philosophy has always been simple: “I photograph legacy, not just looks.”
According to him, that conviction took years to communicate — and even longer to embody consistently while working with high-profile personalities.
“My goal is to maintain a signature visual language that can adapt to a brief without losing its identity. When someone looks at my work, I want them to feel something specific — a weight, a presence, a sense that the moment mattered — before they ever read my name,” he said.
Dennis noted that the steepest learning curve has been managing expectations at the highest level. “In celebrity photography, you are not just taking pictures. You are protecting brands, reputations, and moments that will not come twice. But the challenge I underestimated early on was perception,” he added.
When asked how he handles uncooperative celebrities or last-minute cancellations, Dennis said professionalism is key. “I’ve learned not to take it personally. Celebrities are human. Their schedules shift, their energy shifts, and sometimes the situation are entirely beyond their control.
“Energy is contagious — if I’m anxious, the subject feels it. For cancellations, I operate with a contingency mindset. Flexibility isn’t just a soft skill in this industry — it is survival. I use that recovered time to refine concepts, deepen relationships, or push into creative work that the schedule never usually allows,” he disclosed.
