Adjoa Pee, Mr. Beautiful
Veteran actress, Adjoa Pee, has raised concerns about how Kumawood actor, Mr. Beautiful, handled GH¢2,000 she says President John Dramani Mahama sent to support her medical expenses.
According to the actress, she was hospitalised in 2022 when Mr. Beautiful informed her that he had spoken to President Mahama about her situation.
She said the actor later arrived at the hospital with GH¢2,000 but allegedly deducted money for transportation.
Adjoa Pee said the deduction meant the money was not enough to settle her medical bill, forcing her to personally provide the balance.
She made the claims in an interview on Bra Emma Studios aired on Facebook over weekend.
The actress questioned why Mr. Beautiful would take transportation expenses from the money if it had been specifically provided to settle her hospital bill.
“I am not sure President John Dramani Mahama would give him money to come and pay my medical bills in Tema without giving him separate money for transportation,” she said.
Adjoa Pee also claimed that Mr. Beautiful recorded a video of her expressing gratitude to President Mahama after the bill was settled.
She said she later contacted the actor several times to obtain the video for her personal use but alleged that he did not respond to her calls.
