Bisa Kdei
Musician, Bisa Kdei, has announced the maiden edition of The Convention, a new annual event celebrating the country’s rich highlife tradition and culture.
The event is scheduled for December 20, 2026, at the Underbridge Annex, East Legon, Accra, and is expected to draw highlife enthusiasts and music lovers from Ghana and beyond.
The Convention will feature live music, entertainment and other activities, with the organisers seeking to bring highlife lovers together for an evening celebrating Ghana’s timeless sound.
The maiden edition is expected to become a new fixture on Ghana’s end-of-year entertainment calendar, with plans to hold the event annually.
Bisa Kdei, who has been active in the music industry for about 15 years, is regarded as one of Ghana’s leading contemporary highlife musicians. Through The Convention, he seeks to further celebrate and promote the genre and its cultural heritage.
