Ghanaian fashion icon and actress, Nana Akua Addo, has assured fans of a groundbreaking comeback following weeks of public controversy surrounding her marriage.

In a video shared on her TikTok page, the style influencer was seen spending quality family time with her two daughters, days after a reported rift with her first daughter, Jesusa. The video has since drawn massive reactions from fans.

Responding to a comment from a fan, Sophia Ankrah, who wrote, “I am loving this new chapter. It will end in praise,” Nana Akua replied: “I have chop beatings! Wait for the comeback.”

The actress has been at the centre of a highly publicised domestic violence case involving her estranged husband, Harold Duodu Norman.

On October 6, 2026, videos and photos went viral showing Nana Akua Addo with facial injuries, including a swollen lip and blood-stained clothing, while receiving medical attention. In separate footage, her husband was also seen displaying bite marks and scratches, claiming he had been attacked.

During a TikTok Live session on October 6, Nana Akua broke her silence and alleged years of abuse in her marriage.

“Some of you kept asking why you don’t see me at red-carpet events. The thing is that I am on a curfew, and anytime I go out and come back after 10 p.m., I am always beaten,” she alleged.

She further alleged that her husband prevented her from securing ambassadorial deals, that she left the home for a month after a confrontation with his family, which enabled her to travel to Milan and Nigeria.

Nana Akua also recounted a painful pregnancy experience where she developed eclampsia in her seventh month and lost the baby after allegedly being denied financial support for hospital care.

Her husband has been remanded for two weeks.
