Abigail Ashley To Host Adinkra Heroes Night  

 

Award-winning Ghanaian female radio and television presenter on United Television (UTV), Abigail Ashley, has been announced as the host of this year edition of the annual Adinkra Heroes Night Excellence Awards in New York, USA.

The host of UTV’s My Health, My Life is set to guide guests through a five-hour celebration of Ghanaians who have achieved success in their respective fields of endeavour.

The television celebrity will be hosting the event for the second time.

Ghanaians who have made contributions to the country’s growth in a variety of fields will be recognised during the awards ceremony.

The Adinkra Heroes Night Excellence Awards is set for November 25, and it promises to be a glamorous, musical, and joyous occasion.

The awards scheme was established to honour deserving Ghanaians and Ghanaian associations that have achieved success in any profession and to recognise their contributions back home.

A number of personalities, BEATWAVES gathered, will be honoured in various categories like sports, entertainment, entrepreneurship, health, among others.

Abigail Ashley will thrill patrons at the event alongside co-host Vincent Jerry Ogee of New York-based Adinkra Multimedia, organisers of the event.

Patrons will also be treated to performances by a few chosen Ghanaian artistes throughout the evening, including Afrobeat act KiDi.

The Consulate General of Ghana in New York, Mr. Daniel Kingsley Atta Boafo, is the special guest of honour.
