Accra Fashion Week will return in March with a fun new drive to bridge the gap between the public and African designers.
Organisers announced that the show will bring yet another exciting set of fabulous designs from both local and foreign designers from March 29 – April 1, 2017.
Designers will be showcasing designs to cater for the cool season that will follow a few months later.
The theme of the edition is titled ‘Strictly Business’, and this is targeting cool and classy audiences who are currently in tune with fashion and seeking the latest styles by African designers.
Accra Fashion Week aims to continue to bridge the gap between the public and African designers via providing a professional and mind-blowing creative platform to expose their designs.
The objective is to encourage and work along designers not only to prove to the public the quality and standards of fashion by Ghanaian talents are unmatchable, but to also provide a quick and easier access to the garments and establish trends on the continent of Africa.
The harmattan edition dubbed ‘Accra Fashion Week SH17’, which took place this October, made another year of ground-breaking history when it hosted over 150 fashion designers from over 20 countries, making it Africa’s most international fashion show ever, with a guest performance from Ebony Reigns.
Designer registration is now open until January 31, 2018.
