African Consumer Products Limited (ACPL), a joint venture with Wilmar Africa Limited and Kapa Oil Refineries Kenya, has introduced a new range of soap onto the Ghanaian market.
The new brands- Alife, Largo and Jamaa- are set to revolutionalise the soap industry.
Introducing the new soaps to distributors at the premises of ACPL in Tema, General Manager Kwame Wiafe, affirmed that ACPL’s portfolio would bring the much-needed excitement into the soap category, and indeed to consumers through its variety of fragrance and format sizes.
Mr. Wiafe said, “We know convenience is important to every consumer. For instance, the average mother would prefer a soap that is anti-bacterial which she can use for any cleaning purpose. That is the revolution we are offering with Largo, a soap that serves the consumers various needs.”
Mr. Wiafe further indicated that the soaps were made from quality ingredients, some of which are derivatives of crude palm oil in addition to glycerin and perfume that are good for the skin.
Brand Manager for ACPL, Eva Njeri Njeru, who introduced the brands to the distributors, was confident consumers would be happy with the blend of fragrance such as delicate rose, coco care and lemon.
She disclosed that the Jamaa laundry bar soap, with its unique packaging and fragrance, would soon become the undisputed household washing soap.
“This soap makes washing a joy, and no longer a dreaded chore, because it lathers well with less effort,” she added.
