Acting In ‘Victims’ Was My Biggest Challenge- Actress Lamisi Nelson

Actress Lamisi Nelson has revealed her biggest and most challenging role is playing Marie in the TV series titled ‘Victims’.

According to her, it was her first ever major acting role and it put a lot of pressure on her because she didn’t prepare for the role. She was just called to come on set after the original cast didn’t show up.

She was so tensed because she was also acting with some famous celebrities.

The series, ‘Victims’, chronicles the life of Kobby Lowe Jackson, played by Jeffrey Nortey, and his friends and the techniques and tricks they employ to make a lavish living from their victims.

The series is currently showing on Akwaaba Magic on DStv from Mondays to Thursdays at 3pm.

“My role is Marie, a girlfriend to Kobby Lowe. What I love about my character is that, it taught me there is a special someone for everyone out there. Even players do fall in love at some point,” she told NEWS-ONE on Thursday.

“And my biggest challenge was that it was my first ever major role with the biggest celebrities. I was nervous most of the time trying my best to impress everyone and I was the new girl on set at that moment, no one knew my name or was my friend but I was lucky everyone was nice and friendly, and that was what helped me. I did not prepare for the role at all because the original cast could not make it so the director called me to come and shoot,” she added.

“That was really hard, I was new and had to learn my script in like a minute before shoot,” she indicated.

Lamisi is currently one of the new crop of talented actresses around. She featured in a number of films including Yvonne Nelson’s ‘Heels & Sneakers’ series.
