Actor Richard Asante, widely known as Kalybos said “I do” to his fiancée, Antwiwaa, in a star-studded wedding ceremony held in Kumasi on Saturday.
The event was attended by esteemed figures in the entertainment industry, including actors Prince David Osei, James Gardiner, Jeneral Ntatia, and other well-known personalities.
The wedding marks a significant milestone in Kalybos’ life and comes merely a year after an intriguing revelation regarding his future plans.
Notably, in December 2022, co-actor Ahuofe Patri disclosed their intention to have a child together if neither of them found a life partner within two years.
“We have come to an agreement that, after two years, if I don’t have a lover and he also does not have one, we will have a child,” Ahuofe Patri stated on Onua Fm. While the discussion didn’t explicitly mention marriage, it highlighted their mutual consideration for family planning.
She urged Ghanaians to anticipate their future developments and hinted at the possibility of paying closer attention to each other.
Surprisingly, before the two-year mark elapsed, Kalybos has exchanged vows in matrimony. Reports circulating suggest that Ahuofe Patri, his co-actor and previously envisioned partner for this arrangement, was even part of Kalybos’ groomsmen.
