Nana Frema Koranteng, Dr Dominic Obeng-Andoh
Nana Frema Koranteng, an actress and musician, has asked her fellow women who have had successful surgeries at the Obengfo Hospital to speak out.
The Director of Obengfo Hospital, Dr Dominic Obeng-Andoh, is currently in remand custody over the death of Stacy Offei-Darko, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP).
Stacy allegedly went to the hospital for treatment when she died, which led to the arrest of the doctor.
Nana Frema described the arrest as unfair, as she called on other women to support Dr Obeng in these trying times.
According to her, Dr Obeng Andoh has transformed many lives at his Advanced Body Sculpt Centre.
“People do die at hospitals. May Stacy rest in peace but this thing should really be looked into. I underwent surgery, nothing happened to me. I have countless people who underwent those surgeries, I was in the ward with people,” she told JoyNews’ MzGee.
“You will not believe the number of people who have trooped to the Advance Body Sculpt Centre that my Dr actually worked on, you will be amazed. Our celebrities, pastors’ wives, politicians, wives of big men, it is just mind-blowing but I don’t know why this has happened and everybody has left the doctor to be on his own,” Frema added.
She made an appeal to all ladies who have had successful surgeries with Dr Obeng Andoh to rally behind him.
“Let’s come together to share our stories to support Dr Obeng Andoh because he’s really helped us. He has changed a lot of lives,” Nana Frema pointed out.
