A talent show aimed at encouraging, motivating, and rewarding the creativity of young Ghanaian artists in France and other parts of Europe will be launched in Paris on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Named the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show, the inaugural edition of the event seeks to create career opportunities for Ghanaian youths born or residing in France and other parts of Europe.

The show aims to enhance the creative skills of young artists passionate about arts, entertainment, singing, rapping, acting, and other creative talents, using their abilities to promote Ghanaian culture, traditions, music, and values abroad.

General Manager of Adamfopa Media in Paris, Yaw Bannor Asamoah, said the main objective of this initiative is to help young upcoming artists to appreciate their talents in the creative space.

He said many Ghanaians or Africans born abroad have creative values which need to be harnessed at a tender age to direct such talents in promoting the cultural and traditional values of the continent.

Given this, Mr. Asamoah hinted that the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show seeks to act as a conduit for connecting Ghanaian artists in Ghana and their counterparts abroad.

According to him, the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show will become the preferred platform to mentor young Ghanaian and African artists in Europe, adding that the show would help unearth hidden skills and talents of young Africans in Europe.

Winners of the maiden edition would be mentored by A-list artistes, accomplished filmmakers and other high-profile celebrities in their various fields of career.

Mr. Asamoah hinted that his media outlet has partnered with an event production company in Ghana, RAM Media Concepts, to co-host and organise the event in Paris.

When contacted, the Chief Executive Officer of Ram Media Concepts, Mr. Augustine Mark, confirmed their partnership with Adamfopa Media in organising the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show in Paris.

He said the company reckons the importance of such a laudable initiative and has therefore partnered with the France-based media house in producing the event.

Mr. Augustine further explained the talent show would be crowned by a musical concert dubbed, ‘Unveiling the Ghanaian Experience’, which has been scheduled for and September 21 and 22, 2024 in Paris.

He also hinted that Ghana’s sensational reggae dancehall artistes, Samini and Abrewa Nana and Jupitar would be performing at the finals of the talent show, mentioning that they would be the headline artistes of the main event.

He also added that other acts like Pinky Pecks, afro dance sensation, Allo Danny, among other artists have been billed to perform during the finals of the show.
