Afia Schwarzenegger has said ex-president President John Dramani Mahama will lose the 2024 Presidential elections if he chooses former Minister of Education, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, as his running mate again.
According to her, such a decision can lead to a twelve-year stint in opposition to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
She observed in a TikTok live session.
“I have heard that Mahama wants to choose Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as his running mate. If he does that, he will lose the elections. You can mark it anywhere. If the two of them come again in 2024, then the NPP’s breaking the eight (8) mantra shall come to pass,” she indicated.
, “Let me emphasize that if John Mahama brings that woman again, he will lose the elections. Note that if the NPP stays in power for twelve (12) years, the NDC will be in opposition for twelve years (12). So, at this point, it means breaking the 8 for both parties,” she added,
These remarks followed media reports suggesting that John Dramani Mahama had chosen Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, his running mate in the 2020 presidential elections, to partner with him again in the upcoming 2024 elections. The former president is expected to communicate his decision to the NDC leadership in the coming days.
She however didn’t state her reason why Jane won’t be the best to partner with Mahama.
