African Icon Awards 2021 Slated For July 24

 

The 6th edition of African Icon Awards (AIA) is scheduled for July 24, 2021 at the  National Theatre  in Accra, Ghana, where some top icons  on the African continent will be honoured.

The AIA from its inception has consistently honoured great African Achievers; from African leaders, young achievers, community builders to captains of industries across the continent.

The ceremony has fast become established as one of the biggest gatherings of influential and global African leaders on the continent.

The award seeks to reward and celebrate personalities and icons on the African continent, who have contributed to the growth of the various human endeavours on which the continent thrives today.

The award will be bringing Africans together each year on a platform of unity and also find ways to forge new frontiers of development amongst other things.

The African Icon Awards 2019 was held in Accra, Ghana, at National Theatre and it is returning to Ghana in 2021.

Among personalities to be honoured at the event include comedian Funny Face; Mr. John Nwachukwumere Okwugo, a filmmaker and CEO JNO Studios and Platinum Revelations Company LTD-Ghana; Tayo Sobola, CEO of Clean Stitches and a host of others.
