Ahafo Region Records First Covid-19 Case

The Ahafo Region has recorded its first Covid-19 case several months into the outbreak of the infection in Ghana.

This means all 16 regions in Ghana have been affected by the novel Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s total Covid-19 case count has increased to 10,201, says the Ghana Health Service (GHS) in its latest update on June 9.

This was after 291 new cases were recorded by the GHS.

The number of recovered persons has also increased to 3,755 from the previous 3,645.

The death toll remains 48, says the Health Service.

According to the GHS, a total of 233,734 tests have been done so far.
