The board of Avenue International Soccer School Agency (AISSA) soccer reality show has pencilled 10 players down for the next round of the competition.
According to Nelson Kofi Poku, CEO of Avenue Soccer Academy, the coronavirus pandemic informed the board to select 10 players out of 15.
The selected players include Faisal, George, Afloe, Isaac, James, Abdul, Ampedu, Emma, Amos and Basit, who will be housed for two to three months at the AISSA House for three months for the reality show. The ultimate winner will be flown out of the country to pursue his career.
The show seeks to offer a platform for young footballers in the remote areas to showcase their talents and ultimately fly the winner abroad to pursue his career.
The annual programme, which originally birthed as an inter-church football competition, was launched in 2016, with Francis Asabesi emerging as the winner of the maiden edition.
Asabesi currently features for a top side in Ukraine.
