Akosua Agyapong Allegedly Threatens GHAMRO Executive With Nima Boys

Legendary highlife musician, Akosua Agyapong has said she will organise boys from Nima, a suburb of Accra to stop executive of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) from attending one week of late musician Kwadwo Akwaboah.

Akwaboah Senior as he was otherwise called reportedly died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi last week Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

According to Akosua Agyapong, the late musician was neglected by GHAMRO when he needed their help in the last days of his life.

She alleged that Kwadwo Akwaboah only received GH¢250 from GHAMRO.

“If it so happens that in the case of Kwadwo Akwaboah who told me before his death that he only received GH¢250 as royalties, what does that amount to, if not cheating,” she alleged while speaking on Akoma FM on Saturday,

She, therefore, concluded that she will organize some Nima boys to stop any executive member from showing up at the One Week Funeral observation of the legend which comes off on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at his hometown Trede in the Ashanti Region.
