Alexander Incoom, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Asene Manso Akroso District in the Eastern Region, has presented 31 motorbikes to the assembly members in the district.
The DCE did the presentation on behalf of President Akufo-Addo.
The presentation is in fulfillment of the President’s promise of resourcing all assembly members of the metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies in the discharge of their constitutional mandate of bringing local governance on the doorstep of the citizenry.
In a short address, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the assembly members for their hard work and commitment in addressing the many challenges confronting their respective electoral areas.
The DCE, however, urged them to take good care of the bikes with regard to maintenance and also comply with all road safety regulations on the use of motorbikes to avoid accidents.
