President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to commission three ultra-modern 40-bed hospitals in the Eastern Region Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The hospitals, located in Adukrom, Jumapo, and Kwabeng in the Okere, New Juaben North and Atiwa West Districts respectively are part of the government’s efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure in the region.
The commissioning is a significant milestone in the government’s healthcare development agenda, which has seen the construction of several hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country.
In November 2024, President Akufo-Addo commissioned four 40-bed district hospitals, bringing the total number of hospitals commissioned by his administration to nine in less than two weeks.
Akyem Visit
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo will also embark on a Thank You Tour of Akyem Abuakwa, where he will address a durbar of Nananom, the clergy, imams, and opinion leaders.
The event, scheduled to take place at 10 am prompt at Eseho, Kyebi, is an opportunity for the President to express his gratitude to the people of Okyeman for their support in the recent elections.
The President’s visit is expected to be met with enthusiasm from the people of Akyem Abuakwa, who have been beneficiaries of several development projects implemented by his administration.
