Akyem-Akroso Communities Get Water

The DCE commissioning the water project

THE Asene Manso Akroso District Assembly in the Eastern Region in partnership with Action Against Rural Poverty/Africa Heartwood Project has commissioned four borehole projects in some electoral areas in the district.

The beneficiary communities include Dwendaama, Botwe, Adjeikuraa and Oframoase.

The projects were initiated by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, George Kwame Aboagye.

The DCE for the area, Alex Incoom, who commissioned the boreholes, urged the residents to rally massively behind the government to enable them to meet the demands of the people.

He also presented Veronica buckets and bowls, soaps and tissue to the four beneficiary communities in the fight against Covid-19.

He further donated over 2,000 hand sanitizers and other PPEs to the health directorate, taxi drivers, motorcycle riders and the district police stations.

The beneficiary commuters lauded the government for providing them with potable water.
