The stage is set for the continental sports fiesta in Morrocco.
A member of Ghana’s International Games and Competitions Committee (IGCC), Magnus Rex Danquah, who recently returned from Morocco after a working visit, revealed that Morocco “are ready to roar, as in, they are ready to deliver a brilliant tournament.”
Fifty-four nations will be battling for honours in 23 events in the two-week sports festival scheduled for August 19 to 31.
Expected to conduct the official opening ceremony at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, the main venue, is King Mohammed VI, king of Morocco.
