THE ACCOMMODATION situation for the teaching staff of Prempeh College, one of the leading Senior High Schools (SHS) in the country, is set to improve.

This pleasant news follows the official commissioning of a fully furnished newly constructed three bedroom teachers’ bungalow in the school.

The Amanfoɔ 99 Year Group, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary, funded the construction of the new teachers’ bungalow to help support their alma mater.

The group has also contributed significantly towards the improvement of the water situation in the school.

The Amanfoɔ 99 Year Group provided new water pumps and huge water tanks, among others in this regard.

The commissioning of the bungalow last Saturday afternoon, was the major project to mark the 25th anniversary of the Amanfoɔ 99 Year Group.

Nana Bediako Brogya Sarpong, Dompiahene of Agogo Traditional Area and the current headmaster of Prempeh College, Rt. Rev. Loius Asare, who are part of the Amanfoɔ 99 year group, were present at the function.

The President of the Amanfoɔ 99 Year Group, Michael Nketia, said the bungalow was very necessary since the school was facing teachers’ accommodation challenges.

According to him, the Amanfoɔ 99 Year Group believed that they have attained their current status in life following the education and training that they had from Prempeh College.

Michael Nketia said his group is giving back to Prempeh College what it has done in their lives, assuring that his group has more for the school in the future.

The Headmaster of Prempeh College, Rt. Rev. Louis Asare, on behalf the school authorities, thanked the Amanfoɔ 99 Year Group for the gesture and urged other year groups to emulate their feat.
