Kwasi Amoako Attah
The Roads and Highways Minister, Kwasi Amoako Attah, has requested the CID to launch investigation into an allegation of corruption and bribe taking that has been associated with his name and office as a minister.
The allegations were made on live television through a phone call by a female landlady who claimed that she had been swindled by a radio presenter who collected various sums of money from her to ostensibly give it to the Roads and Highways Minister.
The lady was said to have called into NET2 TV to complain that a certain radio presenter tricked her into parting with GH¢25,000, which he promised to influence the minister to take a certain decision in her favour. This was, however, not to be, she added.
