Andrew Yaw Bunting Graces Rank Africa Magazine Cover

British-born Ghanaian Nollywood actor, model and brand influencer, Andrew Yaw Bunting, is the latest cover star to be featured in Rank Africa Magazine.

Rank Africa is a digital media and recognition platform that spotlights impactful people, brands, businesses and entertainment across the continent through editorial analysis, surveys and cultural rankings.

The edition, titled ‘Andrew Yaw Bunting: Africa’s Leading Man of 2026’, takes a deep dive into the actor’s journey.

An excerpt from the magazine reads: “There comes a point in an actor’s journey when the conversation changes – when potential starts becoming proof. For Andrew Yaw Bunting, 2026 has been that year.

At the centre of his remarkable run is his portrayal of Eli in ‘Call of My Life’ – a performance defined by charm, emotional restraint, authenticity and undeniable chemistry with Uzoamaka Power.

It earned Andrew a Ranks Africa 5-Star Performance Rating and placed him at the heart of one of Nollywood’s major theatrical successes of the year.

But Andrew’s story didn’t begin with one film. From ‘Water and Garri’ and ‘Princess on a Hill’ to ‘Love Lockdown’, ‘My Body, God’s Temple’ and now ‘Call of My Life’, the Ghanaian actor has been steadily building his place within Nollywood and the wider African screen industry.”

It further added: “No unnecessary noise. No overnight narrative. Just the work — and increasingly, the work is speaking loudly.

For his performance, progression, audience connection and growing contribution to African screen entertainment, Rank Africa recognises Andrew Yaw Bunting among Africa’s Leading Men making an impact in 2026.

Andrew Yaw Bunting is no longer simply one to watch. He is giving us reasons to pay attention now.

Congratulations, Andrew. 2026 looks good on you – and we believe there is much more ahead.”
