Another Man Kills Lover

Information reaching DAILY GUIDE indicates that a 27-year-old man whose name was given only as Dominic has allegedly killed his girlfriend, Victoria Tetteh, 23, at Dunkwa-Mfuom in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality of the Central Region.

The unfortunate incident occurred last Tuesday.

According to sources, the boyfriend who is currently on the run, allegedly killed the girlfriend by crashing her head with cement blocks.

According to some residents, Dominic had dated Victoria for about a year now.

“What we can say is that the two have had a beautiful relationship until recently when the suspect started accusing his deceased girlfriend of cheating on him,” they asserted.

It was gathered that the suspect, who is an illegal miner, on Tuesday went to Victoria’s house where an argument ensued between them.

Sensing danger, the deceased left the place and ran to her sister’s house nearby to prevent Dominic from harming her.

However, the suspect rushed to the house of his girlfriend’s sister and demanded that she come out from the room.  According to information gathered, the sister decided to come out of her single room to calm Dominic down.

She later decided to go to her landlord who lived nearby to assist her in resolving the issue and locked her sister inside her room.

It was, however, gathered that immediately Victoria’s sister left, the boyfriend broke into the room and purportedly used a cement block to hit the head of Victoria and left her in a pool of blood.

The sister returned with the landlord and met Victoria motionless and lying in the pool of blood in front of the door without the suspect.

Victoria was pronounced dead on arrival at the Dunkwa Hospital and the lifeless body kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.

The sister together with the landlord have since reported the incident to the Dunkwa Police.
