Ghanaian technology company, AO Holdings, has chalked a major international feat after being adjudged Microsoft AI Business Solutions Partner of the Year (ERP) and Azure Partner of the Year for West Africa.

The company received the two prestigious awards at a ceremony recently, presented by Denzil Moorcroft, Sales Director, Microsoft Channel Partners.

The latest recognition follows AO Holdings’ award at Microsoft’s Partner of the Year Awards ceremony held in South Africa in March this year.

The awards recognise the company’s outstanding contribution to artificial intelligence (AI)-powered enterprise resource planning (ERP), cloud infrastructure management and digital transformation across West Africa.

AO Holdings was particularly commended for helping organisations deploy Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, Power Platform, Business Intelligence and AI-powered business applications.

The company said its solutions had enabled clients across various sectors to streamline operations, improve decision-making and accelerate digital transformation.

Speaking after receiving the awards, Executive President and Principal Consultant of AO Holdings, Kofi Ako Owiredu, described the recognition as both an honour and a responsibility.

He said the awards demonstrated the dedication of the company’s team, the confidence reposed in it by clients and the strength of its partnership with Microsoft.

“At AO Holdings, our goal has always been simple: supporting our clients to achieve more,” he stated.

Mr. Owiredu said the recognition would motivate the company to deepen its efforts to help organisations in Ghana and across Africa unlock the benefits of AI, cloud technologies and modern business applications.

He stressed that the awards were not a destination for the company but rather an inspiration to continue delivering world-class technological solutions capable of creating measurable business value.

According to him, the partnership with Microsoft had enabled AO Holdings to combine globally recognised technologies with local expertise to provide solutions tailored to the needs of African businesses.

Microsoft’s annual Partner of the Year Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate innovation, technical excellence and significant customer impact within the Microsoft ecosystem.

AO Holdings said it would continue to expand its digital transformation solutions for key sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, retail and distribution, construction and real estate, mining, energy, oil and gas, healthcare, education, public service, media, hospitality and agribusiness.

The company’s latest recognition comes at a time when businesses across Africa are increasingly investing in AI, cloud computing and digital transformation.

AO Holdings said it remained committed to helping businesses harness emerging technologies to improve productivity, drive growth and build resilient enterprises.
