Ghanaian rising star, AratheJay, has earned his first-ever career entry across the US Billboard charts following his feature on Black Sherif’s hit song “Forever”.

The song debuted on the Billboard Afrobeats chart, marking a major milestone for the young artiste and officially introducing him to the global Billboard ecosystem.

The collaboration, which has become a fan favourite in Ghana and beyond, pairs Black Sherif’s raw emotional delivery with AratheJay’s spiritual and melodic touch, earning massive streaming numbers since its release.

He first broke through with his single “Sankofa” in 2017, which later got a remix with King Promise. He rose to national prominence with his debut project “Finding Nimo Series: The Capsule”, released on July 28, 2024.

The 9-track EP, which introduced his alter-ego Nimo Constantine (inspired by highlife legend Koo Nimo and Finding Nemo), has amassed over 10 million streams across platforms. Its cover art, shot by Andy Madjitey, even appeared in Vogue.

In 2024, he followed up with his debut full-length album “The Odyssey”, a 17-track project featuring Stonebwoy on “Talisman”, Bella Shmurda on “Fire”, and Black Sherif on the smash hit “Jesus Christ II” (now “Jesus Christ 2”), alongside Kweku Smoke, Beeztrap KOTM, O’Kenneth, Savara of Sauti Sol and Uganda’s Joshua Baraka.
