The Winner of TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020, Naa Dedei Botchwey, has occupied students of Sunyani Senior High School (SUSEC) in the Bono Region with her ‘Ask Naa’ initiative which was recently launched in Accra.

The beauty queen engaged the students to educate them on how to be persevering, confident, staying focused, and practicing lifelong learning.

She also encouraged them to prioritise their education and future ambitions in order to achieve their goals.

“We all go through difficult moments in our life, but what makes us different is what you choose to do when the going gets tough,” she said.

She added, “Never give up! Don’t be shy of your hustle and ignore the naysayers! Just keep pushing; it will make all the difference.”

With the upsurge of the coronavirus among students, Naa Dedei also educated the students on the need to observe the COVID-19 safety protocols laid down by the government to help curb the second wave of the coronavirus.

The headmaster, Mr. Nsiah-Agyapong, congratulated the beauty queen for her win and also expressed gratitude to her for donating learning materials to aid their education.

“On behalf of my students we say thank you for the items and education, and promise to practice all that you spoke about,” he said.

The initiative has donated over 4,000 books and an undisclosed amount of money to schools including Accra Girls’ Senior High School, Apollonia JHS, and Nungua Secondary School among others.

The beauty queen said: “The ‘Ask Naa’ initiative has also collaborated with local authority at Apollonia to put up an ultramodern library. I’m appealing for donor support to start the construction”, adding, “Contact 0207585004 to help make the construction of the library a dream come true.”
