Rebecca Yeboah presenting the tricycle to the management of Asuofua Health Centre
There is congestion at the Asuofua Health Centre, which is the major medical facility in the newly-created Atwima Nwabiagya North District.
The health centre provides healthcare for people in areas such as Asamang, Nketia, Achiase, Amoaman and others.
Currently, lack of equipment and medical staff are some of the challenges being faced by the facility.
The management of the facility revealed this when the DCE for Atwima Nwabiagya North District, Rebecca Yeboah, paid a working visit to the facility.
They stated that the challenges were hampering effective delivery of medical services in the district.
However, they assured that they would continue to give off their best to help save lives.
The staff of the health centre appealed to the DCE and all other major stakeholders to come to their aid to help boost their delivery.
Madam Yeboah commended the management and staff of the Asuofua Health Centre for their efforts in spite of the challenges.
She assured that the district assembly would do everything in its capacity to help address their problems.
Madam Yeboah presented a tricycle and waste bins to the Asuofua Health Centre to help improve the sanitation situation at the medical facility.
