Ayawaso Probe: Sam George Paints Hollywood Movie Scene

Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Sam George, has hilariously painted what could best be described as a Hollywood movie scene.

Testifying before the Emile Short Commission of Inquiry on Monday, February 25, 2019, at the Osu Castle in Accra, the MP observed how knowledge from war and action movies he had watched in the past helped him to dodge bullets that were allegedly fired at him during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election shooting incident on January 31, 2019.

He told the commission that after being assaulted by two officers of National Security, he realised the need to run “for my life.”

Whilst running, he said he heard gunshots that were being fired at him.

He said because of the knowledge he had from films on avoiding being shot, he decided not to run straight in order to dodge the bullets.

According to him, he decided to take a detour in order to save his life.

He claimed he heard over 40 gunshots that day.
