Bawumia Boy Fires Up Western NPP Women

A former Director of Operations at the Office of the former Vice President, Alhaji Ismaela Ibrahim, has acknowledged the role of women in society during a programme in Takoradi.

“When women rise, the nation listens. When women mobilise, the people respond,” he stated.

On unity, he said “it is non-negotiable, division only serves our opponents. We must guard against gossip, against backbiting, against tearing one another down. Every word must build, every conversation must uplift. If we truly love our party, then our words and actions must build it up, not tear it down. When we spend our energy on internal rivalries, we lose focus on the bigger task ahead.”

The 2028 elections, he said, will not be won in the cities or through rallies but as he put it “it will be won in the villages, in the towns, in the markets, in the churches, in the mosques, in the trotro and chop bars.”

All must therefore enter homes, sit with families, listen to their struggles, and share solutions, he charged his audience.

He said these during a Leadership Empowerment Programme for all constituency and regional women officers under the auspices of the Western Regional Women’s Organiser at Kingstel Hotel in Takoradi.

The theme of the programme was “Leading with Purpose and Passion”.

“We must penetrate the markets because our mothers and traders are the heartbeat of our economy,” he said, adding that “and everywhere we go, our message must be positive and clear.”

During such engagements, he said the women should remind Ghanaians about the achievements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the years.

While the Free Senior High School (SHS) has lifted burdens from countless families, he said, “digitalisation has simplified life and created opportunities. Social interventions have touched lives. And above all, let us paint the vision of tomorrow, because NPP through Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stands for digital innovation, youth empowerment, and economic transformation.”

At this critical moment in our nation’s history, he said “the NPP requires all of us to stay focused, disciplined, and determined to return the NPP to power.”

“Let us leave here ready to serve, ready to inspire, and to win. It is time we go back to our homes, our markets, our communities with one clear message: the NPP is the party of hope, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the leader for the future,” he added.

He paid tributes to the Founders of Lead Afrique; Mrs. Letitia Ohene-Effah, Mr. Michael Ohene-Effah, Regional Chairman (Chairman Nana Francis Ndede Siah), DMB Regional Campaign Coordinator, Kofi Mireku Duker, and the Regional Women Organiser, Ms. Josephine Yaa Odoom, who graced the engagement.
