Dr. Bawumia sandwhiched between Kweku Baako and wife
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, yesterday paid a visit to Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako Jnr. and his family to commiserate with them on the loss of the veteran journalist’s mother.
Mr. Baako’s mother, Gloria Aba Addison, died on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Ghana Maritime Hospital.
Expressing his condolences and that of President Akufo-Addo, the Vice President assured Mr. Baako and his family of the nation’s prayers and support “in these difficult times.”
According to Dr. Bawumia, even though Madam Addison was advanced in age, her death was a sad one since the vacuum she had created could never be filled.
The Vice President was accompanied by a few people from the presidency to Mr. Baako’s residence in Accra.
