Ronald Kweku Dei Appiah, known in the Ghanaian music scene as Bisa Kdei, has been invited to perform at this year’s edition of a two-day music festival dubbed ‘Ecofest’ 2021 in Sierra Leone.

Although much has not been revealed as to which artistes will be performing at the festival, organisers hinted that the event will showcase performances from over 26 of the best selling African music stars who will rock the stage alongside Bisa Kdei.

Organised by Kabaka Group Multimedia Entertainment, the festival will witness performances from artistes from DR Congo, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Senegal, Guinea, and Kenya.

They are expected to surprise music fans in Sierra Leone with magnificent and electrifying performances. They are also expected to use the event to promote African music.

Over thirty thousand music fans from across the West African sub-region are expected to attend this year’s Ecofest, which brings about cultural exchange that will promote regional cooperation in the arts and entertainment.

Unlike previous ones held, the event is aimed at taking African music to another level.

Bisa Kdei, who has performed on a number of local and international platforms, is expected to perform songs including ‘Brother Brother’, ‘Matanfo’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Apae’, ‘Odo Carpenter’, ‘Saa’, ‘Baba’ among others.

Bisa Kdei is the first Ghanaian artiste and second African artiste to be verified on Facebook.
He is also the first Ghanaian artiste to break into the limelight with a movie sound track, ‘Azonto Ghost’.

Bisa Kdei on December 21, 2013, launched his 16 track maiden album which is still getting massive sales on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and other international music marketing platforms as well as the local markets.

He won Highlife Artiste of the Year award at 2017 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Bisa Kdei has come a long way as far as music is concerned and ever since he came into the mainstream, he has been able to touch hearts and lives of many with his inspiring music.
