Boakye Agyarko Supports Muslims

Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko has donated bags of sugar, boxes of tea and cartons of milk to four constituencies in the Eastern Region towards the Holy month of Ramadan. 

The constituencies are Lower Manya Krobo, Upper Manya Krobo, Yilo Krobo and Asuogyaman. 

During the brief presentation, Mr. Agyarko said that the period of fasting and prayers would go a long way to help bring peace, unity and progress to the constituencies and Ghana in general. 

“I wish the Muslim community a successful Holy month of Ramadan as I pray to the almighty Allah to listen and answer their prayers during this holy month and beyond,” he said.

Charles Kwesi Borkor, Lower Manya Krobo Constituency NPP Chairman, who received the items on behalf of the other constituencies, expressed appreciation to the former energy minister for his kind gesture. 

He also commended Mr. Agyarko for his support to the constituencies in the Krobo area towards the development of the area. 

The presentation was made in the presence of the Municipal and District Chief Executives, NPP Chairmen and representative of the Muslim community in the area.
