Boamah Otokunor Salutes New NDC’s Executives

Peter Boamah Otokunor

AN ASPIRING Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Boamah Otokunor, has congratulated candidates who emerged victorious in the just-ended regional elections.

The NDC over the weekend held its regional elections to elect new leaders to steer its affairs in the 10 regions of Ghana.

Shockingly, many candidates perceived to be associated with ex-President Mahama, including former Transport Minister Dzifa Attivor, who was seeking to become NDC Volta Regional Chairperson, miserably lost their bids.

In a statement, Mr. Otokunor who is campaigning on the message of ‘result-driven leadership’ said “the success of the regional delegates’ conference marks a new milestone in the journey towards victory 2020.”

According to him, he had no doubt that the new regional leadership would exude quality management of the party, as well as show magnanimity by bringing onboard other aspirants to work towards the victory 2020 agenda.

“As we work towards electing your new partners (national executives) in this bid, let’s not be oblivious of the need for competence, dedication, commitment, dynamism, effective and efficient leadership.”

He added that if these are qualities we believe can help us secure our victory in 2020, then I await your mandate as a next deputy general secretary to work with you to make the NDC great again.
