Laillah-Crystal Banda
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Bola Ray’s Empire Group and assistant to the Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network’s boss, Laillah-Crystal Banda, has passed on.
She died on Friday, February 14, and it is yet to be made public what actually killed her.
NEWS-ONE sources disclosed that she was sick for just a short while.
The articulate biomedical scientist worked with Bola Ray for a long time. She was his executive assistant and further worked as PR for his Empire Group. She was also a pundit on some entertainment shows on TV for a while before her unfortunate death.
Reports of death have come as a shock to many of her friends and showbiz circles.
Bola Ray shared a photo of a lit candle and wrote, “God keep her soul.”
“This is scary Crystal. I will miss our gist and convos about life. Sleep well. Rest in perfect peace. Thanks for your friendship,” Amanda Jisseh wrote on her Facebook when he shared her photograph.
Live FM presenter Antoine Mensah also shared Crystal’s photo on Instagram and wrote, “Crystal was such a good person! Through & through! One of the sweetest people I’ve been blessed to work with. When Crystal says she’s got your back, it was for real! My biggest MC gigs came from you. Always so encouraging, always so loving. You LOVED to share, loved to connect people, loved to see things work out. Such a professional at executing your projects. Your taste in music was incredible! I called her DJ! Crystal at one point sent me over 50 new songs on WhatsApp to check out and playlist. We even talked about getting you to guest DJ on Live at some point. Gosh you will be missed. It’s so sad.
