Central University Opens Kumasi Campus

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY, the largest private tertiary institution in Ghana has opened a branch at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking at a press conference, the President of Central University, Professor Kwesi Yankah indicated that the Kumasi campus was established to bring Central University‘s global brand of transformational and top-quality education to the people of the Ashanti Region and its environs.

According to him, the campus will offer programmes in Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management, Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Theology.

He added that Post Graduate programmes including MBA Finance, MBA Marketing, and MBA General Management will also be ran by the Kumasi campus which adds to the growing number of campuses of the Central University.

The other campuses are Mataheko, Christ Temple and the permanent campus at Miotso.

Central University which became a fully-fledged university early this year is the biggest private university in Ghana, with students from over 25 countries across the world.

The University offers a wide range of quality programs through its four schools and two faculties. The schools are; School of Applied Sciences, School of Theology and Missions, Central Business School and the Graduate School. The faculties are; Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
