Emmanuel Bortey Borketey

EMMANUEL BORTEY Borketey, Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, a brewery and logistics conglomerate, recently supported some 23 radio station staff in the Upper East Region to help them educate their listeners on the Covid-19 pandemic.

The gesture, which is billed to be replicated in the Northern and North East regions, is part of the company’s initiative to help reduce the spread of the virus.

Dubbed, “Happy Man Surprise; the next presenter”, it was aimed at also ensuring members of the public in the three northern regions stayed safe.

Preceding the presentation, Charger Limited, through the Upper East regional representative, presented a brand new Luojia motorbike to Ibrahim Aziz of Word FM in Zuarungu.

According to Mr Borketey, the role played by radio presenters in the northern parts of the country deserved commendation, especially in the area of education, hence his outfit’s support to them to continue their good work.
