The Chartered Institute of Realtors in partnership with the Association of Certified fraud examiners organized the 1st AFCE Fraud Conference Ghana in celebration of the Fraud awareness week at the Accra International Conference Center under the theme “Winning the fight against fraud and corruption in Ghana, a collective responsibility”.
The event which took place on the 15th and 16th of November,2023 saw the attendance of professionals within the banking, accounting and auditing industry, lawyers, academia among others.
Speakers at the event shared their insights on key topics such as Addressing fraud risk factors and the Integration of AI to support the work of the auditor and the ethics of cyber fraud.
Speaking after the event, the President of the AFCE Ghana chapter, Dr. Rebecca Atswei Lomo underscored the need to reduce the incidence of fraud within our society and inspire public confidence in the work of its members.
