Chelsea Too Strong For Hearts …Kotoko Slip @ Len Clay

Berekum Chelsea yesterday recorded their first win after proving too strong for Hearts of Oak; recording a 3-0 at the Golden City Park.

Attacker Stephen Amankona scored the opener in nine minutes after the break with a superlative low drive.
Brimah Mohammed doubled the Blues’ lead in the 75th minute.

The home side kept on firing to increase the scoreline but    goalkeeper Mensah’s interventions were timely.
Coach Henry Wellington struggled to find answers to the home side’s attack  which led to the third goal, courtesy Collins Ameyaw.

At the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi, current leaders, Ashgold maintained their winning form by defeating regional rivals, Asante Kotoko 2-0.

The Miners, who scored through Samed Ibrahim and Shafiu Mumuni has thus opened a six-point gap on the apex of the   standings
