Agnes Asangalisa Chigabatia last Tuesday was one of the leading New Patriotic Party (NPP) members who picked nomination forms at the party’s headquarters in Accra.
She was accompanied by many well-wishers and traditional musicians from the Northern Region who spiced the event with interesting interludes.
The lady, who has been described as mother for all and affable personality, has stated that she would emerge as the next First Vice Chairperson of the NPP when the political grouping goes to the polls in July.
With a verifiable track-record in politics her confidence level was very high, as she rode on the massive horde of supporters who covered her arrival at the party’s headquarters.
Under former President J.A Kufuor, she served with distinction as Deputy Upper East Regional Minister.
