GHANAIAN BUSINESSMEN and women who will participate in this year’s China Import and Export Fair, also known as ‘Canton Fair’ at Guangzhou in China, will certainly experience a good time.
Canton Fair is an international event whereby business owners from across the globe secure exhibition space at Guangzhou, China, to showcase their products to the global market.
The organisers of the international event, which is scheduled to take place in October 2026, have assured to give spectacular hospitality to Ghanaian businessmen and women who will attend the event.
In this regard, Ghanaian businessmen and women have been entreated to secure spaces and participate in the programme in their numbers, and reap home some of the financial benefits.
Ghana’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Kojo Bonsu, who made the call, said the Canton Fair organisers have assured him of special services for Ghanaians.
In a social media post, he disclosed that, “This October Canton Fair event is coming up in Guangzhou in China and I entreat my fellow Ghanaians to actively participate in it.
“I have met and had fruitful deliberations with authorities of Canton Fair and they have agreed to give special services to Ghanaian businessmen and women from the various sectors of the economy.”
According to him, the fair would give golden opportunity to Ghanaian businessmen and women to expose and also sell their goods, expand their businesses as well as create partnerships.
He indicated that business owners who deal in agriculture, construction, education, infrastructure, technology, automobile, energy, mining and security should participate in the fair.
“This is an opportunity to engage in collaborations, expand businesses and create new partnerships, thereby increasing our trade volumes,” Kojo Bonsu admonished Ghanaian business owners.
