The church has presented assorted items to the police to help position them properly in their resolve to deal with crime and ensure law and order.

The items included a photocopying machine, office furniture, stabilizer, among others.

Apostle Samuel Osei Asante, the New Tafo Area Head of the church, said the police need the support of the public to fight crime.

He described the fight against crime as a shared responsibility and entreated the public to support the law enforcers to deal with miscreants.

According to him, sound security has several benefits for society and the people, noting that without security there cannot be proper development.

Apostle Osei Asante maintained that the donation formed part of the church’s social corporate responsibilities.

He gave the assurance that the Pentecost Church will readily support the police – both in cash and in kind – whenever it becomes necessary.

ASP Andreas Kordo, who received the items, reiterated that policing is a shared responsibility and urged the public to frequently assist them (police).

The police chief stated that the items would be put to good use for the benefit of the communities.
