Colorbox Cosmetics Rescues Make-Up Students

Make-up products giant, Colorbox Cosmetics, on Monday launched its CB Beauty Initiative in Accra with an objective to support make-up students.

The initiative aims at offering make-up students in accredited schools with exclusive discounts and benefits on Colorbox products through their verified teachers all year round. They will as a result receive unique codes that will be renewed annually to assist them make orders.

This is in partnership with Make-up Ghana, the company behind major interventions to enliven standards in the beauty and make-up industry through events like Ghana Make-up Awards and also setting up the College of Beauty, Arts and Entrepreneurship.

Colorbox Cosmetics is an affordable luxury beauty brand founded by Stephanie Adu for women from diverse backgrounds to access their superior quality products.

The brand has been trading since 2014 in Ghana and has also expanded to Nigeria this year. It also continues to change the narrative of what quality looks like in Africa.

“The CB Beauty Initiative was born out of the desire to support and empower rising make-up students, through strategic partnerships with accredited and established make-up teachers,” CEO Stephanie Adu stated.

“Both Colorbox Cosmetics and Make-up Ghana understand the importance and the impact of giving back within our beauty community. We believe this initiative will not only help attract new talents but also shine a positive light on these best beauty educators in the country,” she added.

CEO of Make-up Ghana, Rebecca Donkor, in an address, also expressed enthusiasm about the initiative.

“We are deeply excited for the future and look forward to growing the make-up and beauty with this incredible initiative,” she indicated.

Monday’s launching ceremony was attended by a number of beauty stakeholders including celebrated  actress Martha Ankomah,  Blackcherry Make-Up and Sandra Don-Arthur who is the CEO of Alexandrina Make-Up.
