Contractor Hands Over Dining Hall To Special School

The renovated hall

A contractor and chairman of the JUSTMOH Group of Companies, Dr. Justice Amoh has handed over a renovated dining/assembly hall to the management of the Twin-City Special School at Essipong, near Sekondi.

Dr. Amoh, who is a regular donor to the school also donated assorted food items including bags of rice, sugar and cooking oil as well as toiletries to the school. He also fed the students with hot meals.

This was part of activities marking his 60th birthday dubbed, ‘September Borns Project’.

Dr. Amoh commended management of the school for the love and care they extended to the children. He was particularly happy that, there is no record of abuse in the school and encouraged the school authorities to maintain the standard set.

Dr. Amoh said though he does a lot philanthropic responsibilities, he feels obliged to attend to children with special needs as government alone may not be in the position to shoulder such huge responsibility.

He also appealed to individuals and organisation to extend a hand of support to schools for children with special needs.

He explained that, when such children are educated they are able to acquire skills that will be useful to them and society. “This will also take them away from the streets as beggars,” he said.

The Headmistress of the Twin-City Special School, Crescentia Efua Bilson-Sai thanked Dr. Amoh for keeping fate with the children by always coming to their aid.

According to her, the school and the children have benefited immensely from the generosity of JUSTMOH which she said put smiles on their faces.

Madam Bilson-Sai, however, indicated that the school still has numerous challenges and made a passionate appeal to the public for support.

The Catholic Special Vocational School at Fijai also benefitted from the kind gesture of Dr Amoh by receiving assorted food items, toiletries and bags of sachet water.
