Core Construction Rewarded For Efforts

The Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry has adjudged Core Construction Limited as the overall Best General Construction Company for the year 2020/2021 for its untiring efforts towards the building and construction industry.

Established in 1995 as a wholly Ghanaian-owned limited liability construction company, Core Construction has become one of the fastest-growing and preferred construction firm in Ghana and on the African continent.

Core Construction Limited edged out other top industry giants to win the award in the keenly contested category at the maiden Ghana Construction Industry Excellence Awards 2021 in Accra on Friday night.

The citation accompanying the award read: “Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry has not lost sight of the fact that the Core Construction Limited has over the years maintained its market premium with the modern state-of-the-art construction equipment such as the biggest ever bitumen processing plants in Ghana and across the sub-region, asphalt processing plants, quarry processing plants among others.”

It added, “Evidently, the ability of the company to produce such high level quality equipment coupled with the excellent construction capabilities has contributed significantly to Ghana’s infrastructural development.”

It also said that, “Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry is proud of having the Core Construction Company and in particular, its owner as an inspiration to young and upcoming Contractors in Ghana and Africa.”

“In recognition of your outstanding performance in the construction industry in the country, the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry and its partners congratulate you on being accorded the overall Best General Construction Company for the year 2020/2021 Award,” the citation read further.

The Managing Director and Founder of the company, Frank Lartey, accepting the honour, dedicated the award to all who have played a part in the company’s success, saying, “I extend my gratitude to everyone who has played a part to recognise our efforts, I am grateful that our efforts have been recognised and rewarded.”

With its conglomerate companies such as Platinum Seal Limited, Platinum Quarries Limited and many others, the company has manifested its belief in innovations and specialisations by designing product specific plants and equipment to propel its work activities in the construction industry.

The company has on its own facilitated the studies and capacity building programmes for numerous Ghanaian engineers both within and outside the country, in order to be equipped with modern asphalt technologies to help improve our road infrastructure networks in Ghana.
