Corporate Executive Awards’ Nominations Open

Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG) has opened nominations for the 9th edition of the Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards (GECEA) 2019.

The deadline for entries to Ghana’s most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs and corporate executives is 22nd February, 2019.

The Ghana Entrepreneurs & Corporate Executives Awards 2018 is an initiative of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG).

Award-winners would be honoured at a gala dinner scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Accra on the theme, “Promoting United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals through Private and Public Sector Partnership.”

The awards spotlight is on the success of individuals in top executive positions, who make the companies profitable such as founders, CEOs, managing directors, board chairpersons, director generals, directors and corporate senior-level management.

The Entrepreneur Award focuses on the exceptional contributions of entrepreneurs and business executives, who drive Ghana’s private sector.

The Entrepreneur & Business Executives Award categories include Overall Best Entrepreneur Award, Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year, Outstanding Entrepreneurial Personality Award, Outstanding Entrepreneurial Leadership Award, Lifetime Entrepreneurial Achievement Award, Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the year, Outstanding Young Entrepreneur, Most Promising Entrepreneur.

Others are: Overall Best Business Personality Award, Young Business Executive Award, Female Business Executive Award and Business Executive Award. Healthcare, Banking & Finance, Herbal Industry, IT/Telecommunication, Agro-processing, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Non- Banking, Life/ General Insurance, Property and Real Estate and Oil & Gas.

The Corporate & Public Service Executives award also focuses on the exceptional contributions of the public and private sector Chief Executives, Managing Directors and Senior Management, who drive Ghana’s greatest organizations.

Corporate & Public Service Executives award categories include: Overall Best Corporate Executive Award, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Year, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Year, Managing Director of the Year, Country Manager of the Year, Chief Operating Officer of the Year. Female Chief Executive, Director General of the Year, Board Chairpersons, Young Chief Executive, Most Promising Chief Executive, Petroleum Chief Executive, Oil & Gas Marketing Chief Executive, Financial ServicesChief Executive, Agri-business Chief Executive, Media Chief Executive and Healthcare Chief Executive.

The rest are Telecommunication Chief Executive of the Year, Information Technology Chief Executive, Business & Investment Chief Executive, Life/General Insurance Chief Executive, Infrastructure Chief Executive, Airline Chief Executive, Manufacturing Chief Executive and Mining Chief Executive.

The Distinguished Honorary Award will focus on a career of distinguished public servants and diplomatic personalities for promoting economic development.

The Distinguished Honorary award categories include Distinguished Public Officer of the Year, Outstanding Public Service Personality Award, Young Public Officer Award and Most Promising Public Officer of the Year.
